Description
This course teaches basic skills of verification, argumentation, and avoiding deception. Students learn by reading resources prepared by D.L.S., watching short videos by professional scholars, and most importantly through activities in which they practice argumentation, debate, and identifying fallacies and deceptions. Methods include: Socratic style discussion; Guided research; interactive activities on the Miro Board – a virtual classroom tool with almost limitless tools; and use of high quality professional online resources. Appropriate for ages 10 to 12. Cost: $250 for 20 hours
